The Radio Art Resi\u00adden\u00adcy was an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram for artis\u00adtic prac\u00adti\u00adce in radio, hos\u00adted by the inde\u00adpen\u00addent radio sta\u00adti\u00adon CORAX<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>in Hal\u00adle (Saa\u00adle) in coope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon with the Goe\u00adthe-Insti\u00adtut<\/strong><\/a>. From 2018 \u2014 2020 the Radio Art Resi\u00adden\u00adcy invi\u00adted artists from non-Ger\u00adman-spea\u00adking count\u00adries to Hal\u00adle (Saa\u00adle) twice a year for a three-month working stay. With its pro\u00adgram\u00adme, the fel\u00adlow\u00adship spe\u00adci\u00adfi\u00adcal\u00adly aimed to encou\u00adra\u00adge artists to explo\u00adre the medi\u00adum of radio as an instru\u00adment of com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon. Ope\u00adning up the radio space and air time as a field for expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon, the Radio Art Resi\u00adden\u00adcy invi\u00adted artists to deve\u00adlop their own distinc\u00adti\u00adve radio works.<\/p>\n

The fel\u00adlow\u00adship was aimed at artists from various fields of acou\u00adstic and time-based art, who were each asked to del\u00adve into the nar\u00adra\u00adti\u00adve and tech\u00adni\u00adcal qua\u00adli\u00adties of the medi\u00adum. The resul\u00adting radio works not only explo\u00adred the medi\u00adum of radio as a plat\u00adform and instru\u00adment of sonic expres\u00adsi\u00adon, but also as a medi\u00adum of inter\u00adven\u00adti\u00adon and interaction.<\/p>\n

Scho\u00adlar\u00adship hol\u00adders of Radio Art Resi\u00adden\u00adcy: Argen\u00adti\u00adni\u00adan sound artist Sol Rez\u00adza<\/strong><\/a> (2018), French per\u00adfor\u00admance artist Clai\u00adre Ser\u00adres<\/strong><\/a> (2018), Bra\u00adzi\u00adli\u00adan elec\u00adtro\u00adnic artist and com\u00adpo\u00adser Andr\u00e9 Dami\u00e3o<\/strong><\/a> (2019), visu\u00adal and per\u00adfor\u00admance artist Sara Ham\u00addy<\/strong><\/a> (2019) from Egypt and the Kur\u00addish com\u00adpo\u00adser Har\u00addi Kur\u00adda<\/strong><\/a> (2020).<\/p>\n

\u2192 Lis\u00adten to broad\u00adcasts and performances<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator border_width=\u201c6\u201d][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Radio CORAX<\/span><\/strong><\/a> is a non-com\u00admer\u00adcial local radio that can be recei\u00adved on the FM<\/span> fre\u00adquen\u00adcy 95.9 MHz in the Hal\u00adle (Saa\u00adle) area and via live stream<\/strong><\/a> 24 hours a day. As a com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty-based radio, CORAX<\/span> ope\u00adra\u00adtes with an eman\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adto\u00adry cla\u00adim of social equa\u00adli\u00adty and indi\u00advi\u00addu\u00adal free\u00addom. The aim is to give all peo\u00adp\u00adle access to radio in this sen\u00adse. With about 100 regu\u00adlar trans\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adons and 300 radio makers, Radio CORAX<\/span> is the lar\u00adgest non-pro\u00adfit radio in Eas\u00adtern Ger\u00adma\u00adny. Radio CORAX<\/span> has long expe\u00adri\u00adence in hos\u00adting con\u00adfe\u00adren\u00adces, fes\u00adti\u00advals and work\u00adshops. The radio is an acti\u00adve con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtor to natio\u00adnal and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty media net\u00adworks. CORAX<\/span> hos\u00adted the inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal radio fes\u00adti\u00adval Radio Revol\u00adten<\/strong><\/a> in 2006 and 2016 and is enga\u00adged in the radio art net\u00adwork Radia<\/strong><\/a> sin\u00adce 2006.\n

The Goe\u00adthe-Insti\u00adtut<\/a><\/strong> is the cul\u00adtu\u00adral insti\u00adtu\u00adte of the Fede\u00adral Repu\u00adblic of Ger\u00adma\u00adny with a glo\u00adbal reach. It pro\u00admo\u00adtes know\u00adledge of the Ger\u00adman lan\u00adguage abroad and fos\u00adters inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal cul\u00adtu\u00adral coope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon. Within the frame\u00adwork of its film, TV<\/span> and radio divi\u00adsi\u00adon, the Goe\u00adthe-Insti\u00adtut pro\u00advi\u00addes infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon about the Ger\u00adman media land\u00adscape.
