And I found this free\u00addom in radio, in the fre\u00adquen\u00adci\u00ades that are free to be lis\u00adten\u00aded to and used.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Kur\u00adda will fur\u00adther explo\u00adre the free\u00addom in the frequency\u2019s inter\u00adme\u00addia\u00adry tones during his three-month resi\u00adden\u00adcy at Radio CORAX<\/span>. Under the title <\/span>Listening\u2019s Urgen\u00adcy<\/span><\/em> he aims to deve\u00adlop a radio prac\u00adti\u00adce that will be con\u00adtin\u00adued in Kur\u00addi\u00adstan-Iraq, whe\u00adre he grew up and foun\u00added a fes\u00adti\u00adval for sound art and expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adtal music in 2017, brin\u00adging artis\u00adtic sound prac\u00adti\u00adces into the public sphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017 Kur\u00adda foun\u00added the <\/span>Space 21<\/span><\/em> fes\u00adti\u00adval for sound art and expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adtal music, which takes place annu\u00adal\u00adly in the auto\u00adno\u00admous regi\u00adon of Kur\u00addi\u00adstan in Iraq. He recent\u00adly recei\u00adved a com\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adon from the Swe\u00addish Art Coun\u00adcil for his pro\u00adject <\/span>The Ille\u00adgal Per\u00adfor\u00admance<\/span><\/em>.
